I have lived here for going on two years, with roommates, had some problems but Cheyenne was amazing and very helpful, she helped me get into a one bedroom with in 30 days. The apartments are beautiful, clean, updated and in a great safe environment. The maintenance is super quick and friendly, anytime I put a request in Anthony or one of his team members are quick and efficient. I highly recommend these apartments! They are very spacious!

Stay away from MAA Twin Lakes. They do NOTHING about the issues you have in your apartment. I went to pay rent last week, asked the front desk to put in 4 maintenance requests and she literally pretended to write down all of our problems from behind the computer monitor. I have a broken dishwasher, cracks in my walls from water damage, the ceiling on the top of our building externally is caving in (it's literally warped with screws popping out, I will attach pictures when I get home because I FEEL REALLY UNSAFE) and don't get me started on the roaches... Since I have moved in over a year and a half ago, I have complained of a roach infestation that has taken over our apartment. They do nothing to help resolve the problem! They'll say they're sending an exterminator and to expect a paper on the counter.......I think I've only seen a paper twice? Also they installed a new light switch with the hole exposed and you can literally see roaches coming in and out of the kitchen light switch. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE ROACHES. EXTERMINATE THE ENTIRE 14000S BUILDING PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. A recent neighbor knocked on my door asking if we have roaches and her situation is so much more severe than mine that I feel bad complaining. I honestly want to cry and genuinely regret moving here and renewing my lease back in May. I have so many more horror stories but please, do yourself a favor and do not rent at MAA Twin Lakes. They will not help you or fix any of your problems. STAY AWAY.

Our little apartment at MAA has been mine and my husband’s starter home since our marriage. And it was a great one up until recently. About 6th months ago someone stole the catalytic converter off my husband’s work van. The police reported that the culprit hit up a few neighborhoods and told us nothing could be done about it until they were caught. There’s not much MAA could do about it either. (The cons of no nightly security or a gate.) Fast forward to these past few weeks. We’ve had two different incidents where the cops have had to come to the area for a disturbance. And to top it off, we’ve caught a few non-residents casing the place and cars around us. When I went to the office, they couldn’t even guarantee a security rep would be watchful on the area. (Giving the review a two for the reasons listed above.) The community culture has definitely sunk in the last 6th months. If safety is your goal — go somewhere else! Would not recommend this place for a family. However, our overall time here hasn’t been bad at all. Maintenance is kind and timely. The lack of even trying to help out the residence with security is ultimately what is causing my husband and I to consider other places. A gate might help this location. Update 1/2: This MAA location has finally made a statement to residents about a recent burglary that has taken place here. They’ve encouraged residents to call 911 if they see anything, but beyond that cannot guarantee anything. It shouldn’t have taken them this long to make a statement as we’ve been noticing shady stuff for almost a month and brought it to their attention.

I will say that this is the easiest move in process I’ve ever had!! Both Reagan and Amy were great and when I had to make some changes on my insurance Amy was right there to help! Had a few issues that I had upon moving in that were fixed immediately. Fast responses and just an overall good feel.

UPDATE: Management responded and asked for the "lease holder" to contact the office to discuss. There is nothing to discuss. We contacted the office multiple times to seek assistance and no one cared. Simply sharing this with hopes of saving other people the trouble and pain of living in this complex. You guys did not care to discuss when multiple residents had no choice but to move or live in roach infestations! RENTERS BEWARE... before I am discredited, No my name was not on a lease but my boyfriend leased here for more than 2 years and I'm posting on behalf of him. This place has roaches and the complex knows and they do not care. We called and complained multiple times and they only sent pest control once. When you call the office to share your concerns they have no sympathy and ask that you file your requests online through the portal. They also knew the neighbors had an infestation as well. They were older fighting this themselves because the complex couldn't help them adequately. They were forced to moved because they couldn't handle it anymore. You're charged an MAA fee in your rent but you aren't provided with adequate pest control. It's really sad.

Current resident. Had a great experience with the new maintenance team. Carlos and Jason are responsive and empathetic to the needs of tenants in the community. This past summer the a/c of my unit overheated and stopped working. And Jason stayed after his shift ended to help get it going again. Thanks for your hard work!

My experience so far in this community has been top tier a very safe & family oriented environment. Amy helped me & my family get a unit the same day we came into the office she was very kind & considerate if i have any questions or issues i don't hesitate to let her or staff know they're always willing to help.

I got locked out of my apartment for almost 2hours and Carlos was nice and patient enough to come immediately to fix it. He had to break the smart look which was hard to do but was determined enough to work as quick and efficient to get me inside. I would without doubt recommend him to get the job done. So far so good! In the process of moving in so I’ll keep this updated through the experience. Cheyenne was exceptional with taking care of us! Excited to see how this experience unfolds! Update December 1st 2023: our experience has still been wonderful with the apartment complex! I will say we are sad with the residence that left. The newer residences are a little lower class and a bit careless… between the dogs barking every night at 10pm and the reviving engine just when backing out of a parking lot at 6:00am it can become a bit obnoxious especially with a baby in the apartment. Overall though, it’s more of an annoyance than something that truly affects our stay. The children are kind in the neighborhood and offer to take our trash
